Women History Month is Every Month

We do know about you but we think this February and March were months to not forget, but why does Black Women's History season have to end after February and March? We asked out BOLD Facebook group to tell us their favorite books, YouTube clips, songs, shows, etc. they listened to watched, read, or went to, to celebrate black women’s history month and here is what they said:

Vasthy Mompoint: "I am reading Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi."

LN Wilkerson: "...just finished reading A Wrinkle In Time and are planning to see the movie together!"

Tia D. Hodge- Jones: "I completed The Book of Harlanby Bernice McFadden a week or so ago, and The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas a month or so before that. I enjoyed both tremendously."

Judith Franklin: "Right now I’m reading Abundance Now by. She is a transformative speaker and has a powerful story. I also watch her YouTube videos for inspiration and loads of positivity and motivation."

Dawn L. Troupe: "Akata Warrior (easy read for young people but with Black Adult and female themes). TaNehisi Coates "We We're 8 Years in Power and his first book too."

Amara Brady: "I'm re-reading "There are things more beautiful than Beyonce."

Talitha Farrow: "Small Great Things by.Jodi Picoult. Great book!"

Malia West: "Small Doses, Amanda Seales’ podcasts."

Afia Frimpong: "KINTU....The author is from Uganda and won a literature prize this year."
